It looks like Barb Honchak is ready to defend her belt against top contender Vanessa Porto in a undisclosed place and no specific day but will happen in December.
Also Ayaka Hamasaki will also be defending her Invicta FC Atomweight Championship for the first time against Amber Brown. Ayaka who just beat Herica Tiburcio for the Atomweight title is looking to keep it and hopefully for the first time in the division someone will be able to defend and win. Good luck to both fighters on their upcoming training camps and fight.
The last we saw Barb on a Invicta card was back in 2014 in November and She defeated Takayo Hashi to stay undefeated since 2011, She won Flyweight belt against Vanessa Porto by unanimous decision to become the first Invicta FC Flyweight Champion. She’s on a 9-0 win streak right now and is looking to keep it that in her first fight back for 2015.
Porto who has fought Barb in the past at IFC 5 and lost by decision is looking to avenge that loss and has been 3 fight win streak ever since losing to Barb. Porto was fighting for the title against Barb and is looking to keep this fight out of the hands of judges.
These two are going to make some fireworks when they go head to head in December, good luck to both fighters on their upcoming training camps and fight.
We will have more on the card in the coming weeks, especially when Invicta FC 14 is done this weekend.
